Local Area Description
Looe is a small town on the south east coast of Cornwall, it is about 15 miles from the town of Plymouth and has a fishing industry. The water front is clear and safe and there are sandy beaches lining the coastline, the pier has a number of welcoming restaurants and pubs to cater for all tastes.
There is an 18 hole golf course just 10 minutes away by car, coastal footpaths pass through Looe and carries on to Polperro the next town along the coast. Fishing trips can be booked at the harbour in Looe, trips to the the Looe islands are available when in season.
